Questions I hear most often:
What to wear? Where is the best place to do photo session? Can we bring our dog? What to bring regarding hair and make up
I will answer all questions in your email.
Maternity photography has become increasingly popular in recent years, and for good reason. These photos capture the beauty and excitement of pregnancy, creating a lasting memory of this special time. Not only that, but they can also serve as a way to bond with your partner and celebrate your journey together.
There are many different styles of maternity photo sessions, from timless classic black and white portraits to more creative and boho shots. You can choose to have your photos taken in a studio or outdoors, depending on your preferences. And while some may worry about the cost, many photographers offer affordable packages that can fit any budget.
How a Newborn Photo Session Works
My photo session fee includes traveling to your location to photograph you and your family in
the comfort of your home. I have found that photographing newborns and their families in their
own environment creates a more relaxed and comfortable experience for everyone.
I specialize in on-location sessions, meaning I come to your home or another location of your
choice.
My aim is to capture the natural beauty and innocence of babies in a relaxed and candid way. It aims to create images that reflect the unique personality and spirit of your precious child, rather than creating a too styled or artificial look. I travel across Ireland and Europe to capture your special moments. Having worked with many families, I understand that welcoming a newborn or preparing for a maternity session can be a significant and sometimes stressful event. My goal is to make the experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
Please take a moment to browse my gallery of portraits, particularly those featuring babies, newborns, and children. I am always open to discussing your ideas and ensuring that your vision for the session is brought to life.
I have a special photographic project in offer called Day of your life. These are candid, natural life style but artistic portraits of family and especially children. The sessions usually take around 2-6 h and are a lot of fun:) I usually suggest places around Dublin that I know and worked at already.
From the moment I corresponded with Anna I felt at ease about the photo shoot, she was very professional and quick to respond to emails, answered all my queries quickly and concisely. When we met we were delighted she had lovely props, was very friendly and allowed us to change on arrival, she used the natural environment of our home as the background which we loved, we have very precious photos as a family and of our newborn as a result, she has a wealth of experience and it shows in the results, we will definitely be back for more photo sessions
A very happy customer,

I can not tell you how much I love outdoor family sessions. I could photograph these types of sessions all day . I can never know precisely where the shoot will take us. I aim to make this session fun (like with all other types of my sessions) and all about capturing natural connections and moments as opposed to staged poses. I am happy to travel to any location. Outdoor photography is all about light so shooting at the perfect time of day is key! Usually we start at 4 pm during summer and at 12 noon in the winter months. You could choose your local park, go to to the beach or even a drive to the local mountains (which is never disappointing). When it comes to styling these sessions I aim to stick to an earthy colour palette which keeps a nice flow between all family members taking part in the session. Avoiding bold patterns and bright colors is highly recommended. Like my other sessions I let the children take the lead, I let them wander and see what magic they can find. I bring along a some props like bubbles to help keep your little one occupied in case being out in the wild isn’t enough for them! But it usually is.

Natural light portrait is my favorite type of portrait photography. It involves using the available light to create portraits without artificial light sources such as flash or studio lighting.
I have worked with Anna on both a professional and personal level and would highly recommend her. She is very professional, easy to work with and great with clients of all ages.

My approach to portrait photography.
One of the best lighting sources available is the humble window. And I use it most of the time. Most houses have plenty, and they are a lot cheaper than fancy studio lighting systems. The lovely soft natural light is falling upon the persons face,I position myself next to the window facing the subject. The only thing is the need to be careful not to block the light or to cast any unwanted shadows across the subject. Et Voila!
Child portrait photography Anna is an experience award winning candid children portrait photographer.A candid kids portrait is a photograph of a child or children that captures their natural and spontaneous expressions, movements, and emotions. Unlike posed portraits, candid portraits are unscripted.
Wedding preparation photographs. Do I need them? I get asked this question a lot. When most people think of “getting ready photos” they think of awkward photos of cuff-links being put on by friends and girls lined up in robes on a couch. Do you need those? Questionable.
That, however, is not at all what prep photos are about for me (and many others to be honest). Those quiet (or not so quiet and slightly frantic, or very chaotic) few hours before the ceremony are actually my favorite hours of the day, and a lot of my beloved imagery often comes out of them.
What actually is an engagement/couple session? It’s quite self explanatory really, but essentially this is a photo shoot for just you and your fiancé. Last normally between 1 and 2 hours, on location somewhere, you’ll spend time in front of the camera with a professional photographer, taking photographs! Simple!
But should you bother doing one? After all, it’s an investment, having photos taken can be scary, and is it really that important?
Wedding photographer Dublin- Photo gallery, how does it work? As a wedding photographer I give an online wedding photo gallery to all my wedding clients. It is a digital platform that allows couples and their guests to view and share wedding photos online.
A wedding photo booth is a fun and interactive way to capture candid and playful photos of guests at a wedding reception. It typically consists of a camera and backdrop or set design, and may include props and accessories for guests to use in their photos. Wedding photo booths are popular because they are so much fun!
