Award-Winning Newborn & Family Photographer in Dublin

in  Connect on LinkedIn

Anna is one of Dublin's most experienced newborn photographers, with over 20 years behind the camera and more than 1,000 families photographed across Ireland. She is fully accredited by the IPPVA and VAI, and her portrait and art photography has earned her an IPPVA Prize.

She holds a Master's Degree in Anthropology and Journalism, and completed formal photographic portraiture training in Rome, Dublin and Warsaw. That combination of documentary instinct and fine art technique is what sets her newborn photography apart.

Newborn and Family Photography in Dublin

Anna's primary focus is newborn photography. She understands that the first days with a baby are overwhelming, exhausting and deeply beautiful all at once. Her sessions are gentle, unhurried and built around your baby's comfort. Every image she captures reflects the quiet tenderness of those early moments.

Beyond newborns, Anna also works with families at every stage. Maternity sessions, first birthday milestones, growing family portraits, and the kind of reunion photos that become the most treasured thing on someone's wall. She also photographs weddings, with a particular gift for capturing emotion without ever getting in the way.

How Anna Works

Anna trained as a photojournalist before moving into portraiture, and that background shows in everything she does. She watches. She waits. She lets real moments unfold instead of forcing stiff poses or artificial setups.

Her style is natural, feminine and light. Sessions feel calm and relaxed because Anna creates that environment deliberately. She knows how to work with fidgety toddlers, nervous dads, sleeping newborns and everyone in between.

Awards and Exhibitions

Anna is an IPPVA Prize Winner in Portrait and Art Photography and a member of Fearless Photographers Family, where she has also received awards. Her work has been shown in exhibitions across Dublin and Poland, including Mart Gallery in Rathmines, Ranelagh Arts and Dun Laoghaire Rathdown.

She was commissioned for a luxury wedding portrait session at Ballyfin House and selected for the EU Protects "Heroes" project.

The Person Behind the Camera

Anna picked up a camera at eight years old and never put it down. She is a mother herself, which is a big part of why she connects so naturally with the families she photographs. She knows how fast these stages pass. She knows what it means to look back at a photo from your baby's first week and feel everything all over again.

That emotional understanding, combined with two decades of professional skill, is what her clients come back for.
